Hi, I’m Mic Longhurst the owner and founder of Dynamic Motivation. I’m 52 years old and most of my life has been involved in some sort of adventurous activity. I have worked in the outdoors in climbing, rafting, kayaking, diving, bushwalking, mountain biking, and competed in a wide range of adventure sports.
I have a long history in Mountain Biking, I started racing in 1989 and have competed in every type of event including XC,DH, 4X, Enduro and Trials, with a number of podiums at State and National level across disciplines. I was coaching coordinator for CORC for 6 years and ran all of their coaching during that time.
I have been running DM for the last 5 years and have Cert IV Personal Trainer, Cert IV Trainer Assessor, MTBA Level 1 MTB Coach, UCI Level 2 MTB Coach, PMBI MTB Instructor level 1 and 2 and I am one of 6 PMBI Instructor Trainers World Wide. With these qualifications and spending around 400 hours a year face to face instructing all levels from beginner to elite, adults and junior, makes me one of the highest qualified and most experienced MTB Instructors in Australia.
I have also been running a successful Personal Training and Sports Conditioning business with a strong focus on Functional Movement and have very happy clients.
